Welcome to the Rudăria (Eftimie-Murgu) mulinological park

The Rudăria (Eftimie Murgu) mulinological park is placed on the territory of the Eftimie Murgu settlement, a part of the wonderful place called Valea Almăjului – situated in the south-vest of Romania, “where the wildness melts with romantism, and infinity is defined by cosmical dimensions.” The watermills that exist in these place are built with a hydraulic system that uses something called “ciutură” ( a turbine similar to the Kapllan system), being the most vast mulinological park from Southern Europe.
